Sepia toned portrait of Stonewall Jackson in his Confederate uniform. He is turned slightly to his right. Gold pinstripe border around three edges. Printed on reverse is "Published by / E. & H.T. Anthony / 501 Broadway, New York / Manufacturers / of the best / Photographic Albums." Bottom edge was trimmed off and used as a label when the photo was stored in its original album. Written on the piece in pencil is "Stonewall Jackson." |
