Small medicine box found in haversack which belonged to Obadiah Jennings Wise, Captain, Co. A, 46th Virginia Infantry. Testing shows the contents are morphine pills. Active ingredient is morphine; additional ingredients are beeswax (for shaping into pills) and sugar (for taste).
