Description |
A 3 part commemorative badge. The top bar-pin is an bronze oval bar-pin between to discs. The top of the bar-pin reads: "SHREVEPORT" on the top and "1936" on the bottom. In the middle is a depiction of the Louisiana state pelican. On the left is a portrait of "GEN. R.E. LEE" on the left and "STONEWALL JACKSON" on the right. The clasp pin on the back of the is attached to a red and white rectangular satin ribbon with "DELEGATE" in gold printing. It is attached to a bronze shield with a portrait of "GEN. P.T.G. [sic] BEAUREGARD." Above the portrait are the letters "U.C.V." The top left has an Army of Northern Virginia flag, a set of crossed swords in the middle, and a Third National flag on the right all done in red, blue, and white enamel on the flags. On the back of the medal is "46th ANNUAL REUNION JUNE 9-12 1936" in raised lettering with the manufacturer's name at the bottom. |
