This homespun suit was made by the slaves of A. J. Grayson of Bland County, Virginia. Captain Andrew Jackson Grayson volunteered in May 1861, at Bland Courthouse, where he organized the Bland Sharpshooters. The sharpshooters later became Co. F, 45th Virginia Infantry. |
