Description |
The badge is a rectangular length of white silk ribbon mounted on a paper strip, with black, red, and blue markings. A portrait of Jefferson Davis surrounded by a laurel wreath sits in the center of the ribbon. A Third National pattern flag flanks Davis' left side while an Army of Northern Virginia pattern flag flanks his right. "WELCOME / R. E. LEE CAMP / *No. 1* / SONS - C. V." is printed above the portrait. "REUNION / June 30, July 1-2 / **1896** / RICHMOND / OFFICIAL / D. A. Brown, Jr. (in script)" is printed below the portrait. |
