The contents in the sewing box include: brown and white damask doily, linen handkerchief, silk lace remnant (unidentified), butterfly pincushion/needle book, four spools of the best China sewing silk, two silk-covered diamond-shaped pin wheels with pins around perimeter, black lace edging fragment, cased thimble, steel crochet hook handle, blue silk pin wheel, two bone thread winders, four paper pin cushions, two beeswax forms, bivalve white shell, blood's tooth shell, two rivet backs, tortoise shell with ivory oblong case monogram of "A.T.", wax letter seal pellets, and two accordion-fold pocket books. |
