Frock coat of Major Alexander Hart, 5th Louisiana Infantry. He was wounded at the Battle of Antietam, when he was a captain. He was captured (probably wounded) at the Third Battle of Winchester in 1864; sent to a hospital in Baltimore; then imprisoned at forts McHenry and Delaware before being paroled on October 30, 1864. |
