Description |
Boot: One of a pair (2) of boots, each consisting of black leather with cut-away tops and white cotton twill pulls. The front of each boot is made of three separate panels. The front panel is leather, smooth out and most likely lined. Each boot once had a buckle or strap and are sewn with mostly hand stitching. The soles are original and blind stitched. The soles also appear to been repaired with period pegs. The boots have no markings but show indication of wearer having spurs on boots. The boots are typical Southern manufacturing of the war period. |
