Provenance |
This was donated as the "Belt of color bearer Hall". It is identified in the 1905 catalog as the "Belt worn by color bearer E. H. Hall," although the direct connection to Sgt. Edward H. Hall is unknown -- possibly it was assumed to be his, as he was a Georgia color bearer with other items in the collection; or the Georgia Room regent may have known it was Edward's. It may have belonged to some other color bearer named Hall from Georgia. |
