Description |
A 3 part commemorative badge. On the top is an oval shaped "bronze" bar-pin with a depiction of a landscape know as "FISHER'S PEAK" (top) with "AUGUST 22nd to 25th 1939" at the bottom. Underneath it is a scroll that reads: "TRINIDAD, COLO." Attached to the pin is a satin red and white striped ribbon with the letters: "S.C.V." in gold. The ribbon attaches to a "bronze" shield medal. There is a portrait of R.E.Lee on the top left and a portrait of Stonewall Jackson on the top right. Between the portraits are the letters "SC" with a "V" directly underneath them in the middle. On the top of the shield is a scroll that reads "TRINIDAD COLORADO" Underneath the portraits is a depiction of Fort Wooten, and directly under that is a red & blue enameled Confederate flag. Along the bottom edge of the left side to the bottom edge of the right reads: "44th ANNUAL REUNION (flag) AUG 22nd TO 29th 1939" |
