Battle flag of unidentified unit, Alabama. Said to have been an artillery unit flag saved from capture in November 1864 by Capt. T. B. Shockley, Alabama Cavalry. "It went through several fights, and at the close of the war was brought away by color-bearer Captain Shockley. He gave the flag to Cadet McMillan, to be given to Mrs. A. E. Beck for safekeeping."
