Description |
This badge is a brass disc-shaped frame with a floral decoration on the reverse and around the rim. The obverse has a clear glass cover over a white paper insert. A bust photograph of Jefferson Davis is printed in black and white in the center of the insert. Two concentric bands encircle the photograph: the inner one is shaded with no markings; the outer one contains the following, "THE RIGHT MAN IN THE RIGHT PLACE / OUR FIRST PRESIDENT." A steel pendant fob is attached to the top of the badge. |
