On the top is a crested ornate rectangular bronze bar-pin with a scene of a building with scrolls on the top and bottom that read: "Confederate Memorial Institute Richmond, Va." Connected to the top bar-pin is a red & white striped rectangular satin fish tail ribbon that hangs down past the medal with "S.C.V. COMMITTEE" printed in gold. |
