Description |
A commemorative badge. It is comprised of a rectangular white satin ribbon with red and blue printing. All the letters are printed in blue and read: "SIXTH ANNUAL REUNION U.C.V. " at the top. It is followed by a wood-engraved printed portrait of Jefferson Davis surrounded by a wreath, flags, and laurel branches. Underneath the portrait are the words: "AND Laying Corner-Stone of Monument To President Jefferson Davis AT RICHMOND VA. June 30th, July 1st & 2nd, 1896" and "OFFICIAL: D.W. Brown Jr. (name is in cursive script). |
