Presence of signatures indicates this is not a wartime stone (as signatures were hand-signed after currency was printed). Probably made to print souvenir Confederate currency postwar; or, as part of a display of a lithographic press and reproduction stone. May go with printing press and other stone atrributed to Hoyer & Ludwig. |
