"Cap made by Mrs. N. D. White, age 71, Holdenville, Oklahoma, to sell for the benefit of the hospital beds of the U. D. C. at Nueilly, France (World War I). It was sent to Miss Poppenheim in 1918, President-General of the U. D. C. At the Convention at Biloxi, Mississippi, Nov. 1929 it was decided to give the cap to the Confederate Museum." |
