The holster and belt were presented by Captain Joel Clifton Blake, Company, 5th Florida Infantry, to his brother Lieutenant Walter R. Blake of the same company. It was carried by Lieut. Blake in Sharpsburg campaign and at the battle of Fredericksburg. Contributed in memory of Captain Joel Clifton Blake who fell while gallantly leading his company in Battle of Gettysburg. |
